What This Warranty Policy Covers

This Warranty Policy applies to all products purchased from The Phone Supply Co., owned and operated by The Illustrious King Limited Co., at thephonesupplyco.com. We sell authentic phone accessories, charging solutions, and audio accessories from name-brand manufacturers. Warranty coverage for your product comes from two sources: the manufacturer's own warranty that ships with the product, and our direct store commitment to your satisfaction.

Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act Compliance: This policy is written in compliance with the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312). We do not disclaim implied warranties entirely. Any limitation on implied warranties is limited to the shortest period permitted by applicable state law. Certain states do not allow limitations on how long implied warranties last — see the state-specific section below for details.
Two Layers of Protection

When you purchase from The Phone Supply Co., your product is protected by two distinct warranty layers. Understanding both helps you file the right claim with the right party and get the fastest resolution.

Manufacturer Warranty

Provided by the brand

Each product we sell includes the manufacturer's original warranty, exactly as the manufacturer provides it. This warranty is your primary protection for product defects, and it applies from the date of your purchase.

  • Coverage is defined by the manufacturer's written terms
  • We facilitate manufacturer warranty claims on your behalf
  • Prepaid return labels provided for defective products within our store window
  • We stock only authentic products from authorized distribution channels
  • Product warranty documentation included in original packaging

Store Defect Commitment

Directly from us — 30 days

Separate from any manufacturer warranty, we personally guarantee that every product you receive from us will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date of delivery. If your item is defective on arrival or develops a covered defect within 30 days, we will resolve it at no cost to you.

  • Covers defects in materials and workmanship
  • Covers items damaged or defective on arrival (DOA)
  • Covers items shipped incorrectly
  • Remedy: full replacement, store credit, or refund — your choice
  • We provide a prepaid UPS return label at no cost to you
Important: The Store Defect Commitment and the Manufacturer Warranty are separate. You may be able to claim under both. If your product has a defect after our 30-day window but within the manufacturer's warranty period, we will assist you in filing directly with the manufacturer. Contact us at support@thephonesupplyco.com and we will guide you through the process.

What Is and Is Not Covered

Both our Store Defect Commitment and most manufacturer warranties follow a similar structure. The table below describes what is generally covered and what is generally excluded. Always refer to the manufacturer's specific warranty documentation for definitive terms on a given product.

Generally Covered

  • Defects in workmanship — seams separating, ports failing, connectors not making contact as designed
  • Product that arrives non-functional (Dead on Arrival)
  • Product that stops functioning under normal use within the warranty period without external cause
  • Battery defects (not including natural capacity degradation from use)
  • Incorrect item shipped — you received something different from what you ordered
  • Missing components that were listed as included in the product description

  • Screen protector adhesion failure that is not related to improper installation

Not Covered

  • Physical damage caused after delivery — cracked cases, broken connectors, dented housings

  • Battery capacity reduction through normal charge cycles over time
  • Products with removed, altered, or illegible serial numbers

Your Remedy Options

When a warranty claim is approved, you may choose from the following remedies. We honor your preference whenever possible. If your first-choice remedy is not available (for example, the product is out of stock), we will contact you before proceeding with an alternative.

Replacement

We send you the same product as a direct replacement at no charge, including free shipping. If the identical product is no longer available, we will offer a comparable substitute or one of the other remedies below.

Store Credit

We issue store credit for the full purchase price of the defective item, including any applicable taxes you paid. Store credit does not expire and can be applied toward any future purchase at thephonesupplyco.com.

Full Refund

We refund the full purchase price plus applicable taxes to your original payment method. Refunds are processed within 7 business days of claim approval. Credit card refunds may take 3–10 additional business days to appear depending on your card issuer.

Manufacturer Warranty Remedies: Remedies available under a manufacturer's warranty are determined by the manufacturer, not by us. Manufacturer remedies typically include repair, replacement, or refund at the manufacturer's discretion. We will assist you in communicating your preference, but the final decision on manufacturer warranty claims rests with the manufacturer. For our Store Defect Commitment (within 30 days), the remedy is entirely your choice.
Your Rights by State

Consumer warranty rights vary significantly from state to state. Because we ship to all 50 U.S. states, we have outlined the key state-specific provisions that may affect how this Warranty Policy applies to you. The list below focuses on states with notable consumer warranty protections beyond the federal baseline.

Legal Notice: This section is a summary for customer awareness only and does not constitute legal advice. Warranty laws change. If you believe your consumer rights under state law are not being honored, you may contact your state attorney general's consumer protection office or seek independent legal advice.
State Key Warranty-Related Consumer Right How It Applies to Your Purchase
California Cal. Civ. Code § 1791 et seq. (Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act). Implied warranty of merchantability cannot be disclaimed on consumer goods. Minimum implied warranty duration is the manufacturer's express warranty period or 60 days, whichever is longer. California customers have an implied warranty of merchantability on all products we sell. If a product fails to function as expected within its normal use period, you have warranty rights under state law regardless of any limitations in this policy.
New York N.Y. U.C.C. Law §§ 2-314, 2-315; N.Y. General Business Law § 369-b. Implied warranties cannot be disclaimed in consumer sales. New York recognizes implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. New York customers retain full implied warranty rights. If you purchased a product for a specific purpose we were made aware of (e.g., charging a specific device), you may have additional warranty rights under implied warranty of fitness.
Texas Tex. Bus. & Com. Code §§ 17.41–17.63 (Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act). Warranty violations can constitute deceptive trade practices. Consumers may recover additional damages and attorneys' fees for knowing violations. Texas customers are protected under DTPA in addition to standard warranty protections. We take warranty obligations to Texas customers seriously and process claims promptly to comply with these standards.
Florida Fla. Stat. §§ 672.314, 672.315; Florida Lemon Law (primarily for vehicles, but implied warranty principles apply broadly to consumer goods). Implied warranties apply. Florida customers retain implied warranty rights on all products. Limitations on the duration of implied warranties may not be enforceable against Florida consumers in certain circumstances.
Massachusetts Mass. Gen. Laws ch. 106 § 2-316A. Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness cannot be disclaimed in consumer sales. Consumer Protection Act (ch. 93A) provides strong remedies for warranty violations. Massachusetts customers cannot have their implied warranty rights waived. If we fail to honor warranty obligations, Massachusetts consumers may be entitled to additional remedies under ch. 93A, including multiple damages for willful violations.
Washington Wash. Rev. Code § 62A.2-316A. Implied warranty disclaimers are void in consumer transactions. Washington Consumer Protection Act (ch. 19.86 RCW) provides additional protections. Washington customers cannot have implied warranty rights disclaimed or waived. The implied warranty of merchantability applies to all products sold to Washington consumers.
New Jersey N.J. Stat. § 12A:2-316.1. Disclaimer of implied warranties is ineffective in consumer transactions. New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act provides additional remedies including treble damages for knowing violations. New Jersey customers retain full implied warranty rights. Our warehouse in New Jersey (Pennsauken Township) may fulfill your order — this does not change your warranty rights in any way.
Colorado Colo. Rev. Stat. § 4-2-316.5. Implied warranty limitations are void in consumer sales. Colorado Consumer Protection Act (§§ 6-1-101 et seq.) protects against deceptive warranty practices. Colorado customers cannot have implied warranty rights limited or disclaimed.
Connecticut Conn. Gen. Stat. § 42a-2-316(5). Implied warranties cannot be disclaimed in consumer transactions. Connecticut Unfair Trade Practices Act (CUTPA) provides additional remedies. Connecticut customers retain full implied warranty rights on all consumer goods.
Minnesota Minn. Stat. § 336.2-316.1. Implied warranty disclaimers are void in consumer goods sales. Strong consumer protection enforcement through the Office of the Attorney General. Minnesota customers retain full implied warranty rights. Limitations on implied warranty duration are not enforceable against Minnesota consumers.
All Other States Federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. §§ 2301–2312) applies in all states. Implied warranties exist under state UCC provisions in every state and may not be disclaimed outright for consumer goods in many states. Regardless of your state, you have baseline warranty protections under federal law. Any limitation on implied warranties in this policy is subject to your state's consumer protection laws, which may provide you with additional rights.

An implied warranty of merchantability is an unwritten, automatic warranty that every product sold is fit for its ordinary purpose. It means that a phone case should adequately protect a phone, that a USB cable should transfer power, and that earbuds should produce sound. You do not need an explicit written warranty for this protection to exist — it arises automatically under law when you purchase a consumer product.

Under federal law and the laws of most states, we cannot completely disclaim this implied warranty in a consumer transaction, even if our written policy attempted to do so. Our policy does not attempt to disclaim it — we honor it fully.

Contact us at support@thephonesupplyco.com and describe the issue. We will identify the correct manufacturer warranty process for your product and help you initiate the claim. Because we sell only authentic products through authorized channels, your product's serial number should be recognized by the manufacturer's warranty system.

We will stay involved in the process to help facilitate a resolution. If you run into difficulties with the manufacturer directly, let us know and we will escalate on your behalf.

Our Store Defect Commitment covers the item regardless of whether the recipient is the original purchaser, as long as the claim is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date and the original order number can be provided. The order confirmation email serves as the proof of purchase.

For manufacturer warranties, transferability depends on the manufacturer's specific policy. Most manufacturers base warranty eligibility on proof of original purchase from an authorized retailer rather than requiring the claimant to be the original buyer. Contact us and we will help determine what coverage applies.

If we deny a warranty claim, we will provide you with a written explanation of the reason for the denial. Common reasons include: the defect appearing to be from physical damage rather than manufacturing, the warranty period having expired, or the product not exhibiting the reported issue upon inspection.

If you disagree with a denial, you may request a second review by emailing support@thephonesupplyco.com with the subject line "Warranty Claim Appeal — [Your WCA Reference Number]" and providing any additional evidence. We review all appeals within 3 business days.

If you believe your state consumer rights are not being honored after our internal appeal process, you may contact your state attorney general's office or file a complaint with the FTC at ftc.gov.

Warranty coverage and return rights are separate. Within 30 days of delivery, a defective product may qualify under both this Warranty Policy and our Return & Refund Policy. You may choose whichever process is more convenient for you — both lead to the same potential remedies (replacement, store credit, or refund).

After 30 days, the Return & Refund Policy no longer applies but manufacturer warranty protection continues for the duration of the manufacturer's warranty period. Contact us and we will assist with the manufacturer warranty claim process.

Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer

The following legal provisions govern the extent of our liability under this Warranty Policy. These provisions are standard in consumer product warranty policies and are intended to be transparent, not restrictive.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Illustrious King Limited Co. and The Phone Supply Co. are not liable for any consequential or incidental damages arising from a defective product or from the failure of a product to perform as warranted. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to a connected device, loss of data, or lost time.

Important: Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. If you are located in such a state, this limitation does not apply to you. Notable examples include states where your product caused damage to another device — in some states, you may have additional claims under applicable law.

Where permitted by applicable state law, the duration of any implied warranty on a given product is limited to the duration of the applicable manufacturer's express warranty, or one year from the date of purchase, whichever is greater.

Important: The following states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation does not apply to residents of: California, Massachusetts, Washington, New Jersey, Connecticut, Colorado, and Minnesota (among others). Residents of these states retain full implied warranty rights for a reasonable duration based on the product's expected lifespan.

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, where The Illustrious King Limited Co. is registered and operates. Any dispute arising from a warranty claim that cannot be resolved through our internal claims process will be subject to the dispute resolution provisions set forth in our Terms of Service.

Nothing in this governing law clause limits the consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your own state. State-specific protections described in the State-Specific Rights section above remain fully applicable to residents of those states.

This Warranty Policy, together with the manufacturer's warranty documentation included with your product, constitutes the complete and exclusive statement of warranty terms between you and The Phone Supply Co. / The Illustrious King Limited Co. regarding the products you purchase from us.

This Warranty Policy supersedes all prior or contemporaneous oral or written representations about product warranties, except to the extent that specific manufacturer warranties provide you with additional rights beyond what is stated here. In the event of any conflict between this policy and a manufacturer's warranty that offers you greater protection, the greater protection governs.

Third-Party Warranties and Extended Service Plans: We do not sell extended service plans, third-party warranties, or accidental damage protection at this time. We do not endorse any third-party warranty provider. If you are offered an extended warranty by a third-party service through any means, that offer has no affiliation with The Phone Supply Co. or The Illustrious King Limited Co.
