Your financial security is our responsibility. We use industry-standard encryption and security infrastructure through Shopify's certified platform to ensure that every transaction on our store is protected from start to finish.
SSL / TLS Encryption
Our entire website — including every checkout page — is protected by SSL/TLS encryption. All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted and cannot be intercepted by third parties.
PCI-DSS Compliance
Payments are processed through Shopify Payments and PayPal, both of which are fully certified to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS Level 1). We never see or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVV code on our servers.
No Card Data Stored
We do not retain your complete credit or debit card information after a transaction is processed. All sensitive payment data is handled exclusively by our certified payment processors. We have no access to your raw card details.
Third-Party Processor Isolation
When you pay by PayPal or a digital wallet, you are redirected to or interact directly with that provider's secure environment. We receive only a transaction confirmation — your payment credentials never pass through our servers.
Real-Time Fraud Detection
Shopify's built-in fraud analysis evaluates every order for risk signals such as mismatched billing addresses, high-risk IP addresses, and unusual purchasing patterns. Flagged orders are reviewed before fulfillment.
AVS & CVV Verification
All credit and debit card transactions require a CVV (security code) and go through Address Verification System (AVS) checks to confirm that the billing address you provide matches your card issuer's records.
Understanding exactly when and how your payment method is charged helps you plan your purchases with confidence. Here is a precise breakdown of our billing process.
You Submit Your Order
When you click "Complete Order," your payment method is authorized immediately for the full order total, including any applicable shipping and taxes. An authorization hold is placed on your account.
Fraud Review
Our system automatically evaluates your order for risk signals. Most orders pass within seconds. If additional review is required, we will contact you at the email address provided within one business day.
Payment Captured
Once the order passes fraud review and is confirmed, your payment is captured in full. You will receive an order confirmation email with your order number and a summary of your purchase.
Order Fulfilled & Shipped
Your order enters our 1–3 business day processing window. A shipping confirmation with your UPS tracking number is emailed once the package leaves our warehouse.
As a U.S.-based online retailer, The Phone Supply Co. complies with all applicable state and local sales tax laws. Following the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. (2018), online sellers are required to collect sales tax in states where they exceed certain economic nexus thresholds.
- Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping destination's state and local tax rate.
- The applicable tax amount is displayed as a separate, clearly labeled line item before you confirm and pay for your order.
- Tax rates vary by state, county, and municipality. The rate applied to your order reflects the current rate for your exact delivery address.
- Product prices listed on our site do not include sales tax. Tax is added at checkout based on your location.
- We do not charge sales tax on orders shipping to states where we do not currently have a tax collection obligation. This may change as our business grows.
- If you believe a tax was applied in error, contact us at support@thephonesupplyco.com and we will review your order.

Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal offer a fast and secure way to complete your purchase without manually entering your payment details. Here is what you need to know about using each.
Shop Pay
Shop Pay is Shopify's accelerated checkout option. If you have used Shop Pay before, your shipping and payment information may be pre-filled. You will receive a verification code to your registered phone or email to confirm the transaction. Your data is stored securely by Shopify — not by us.
Apple Pay
Apple Pay is available on supported Apple devices and browsers. Your shipping address stored in Apple Wallet is imported automatically. Please verify that your Apple Pay address is up to date before completing checkout to avoid delivery issues. Apple Pay transactions are authenticated via Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode.
Google Pay
Google Pay is available on Android devices and compatible browsers. Your saved shipping and payment information from your Google account is pre-populated at checkout. Ensure your Google Pay address is current before proceeding. Google Pay transactions are authenticated via your device security settings.
PayPal
Selecting PayPal at checkout redirects you to PayPal's secure website to authenticate and complete your payment. Once approved by PayPal, you are returned to our store for order confirmation. We receive only a payment confirmation from PayPal — your PayPal credentials are never shared with us.
We accept Bitcoin (BTC) and USD Coin (USDC) through our secure cryptocurrency payment gateway. Crypto payments work differently from card and wallet payments — please read the following terms carefully before choosing this option.
- Send the exact amount: When your crypto payment is initiated, the gateway displays the precise amount to send in the applicable cryptocurrency. You must send the exact amount within the time window shown — short payments or overpayments may result in processing delays.
- Network confirmation times: Crypto transactions require blockchain network confirmations before your payment is considered final. Depending on network congestion, this can take anywhere from a few minutes to several hours. Your order will not begin processing until the payment is confirmed on-chain.
- Correct network only: Always send the payment using the network specified by the gateway at checkout. Sending USDC on the wrong blockchain network, for example, will result in permanent loss of funds that cannot be recovered.
- Network fees: Blockchain transaction fees ("gas fees") are your responsibility and are separate from your order total. Ensure your wallet balance covers both the payment amount and the applicable network fee.
- USD value at time of purchase: The USD equivalent used to calculate your order total is locked at the time you initiate your crypto payment. Market price fluctuations after that point do not affect your order total.
Crypto Refund Policy
If you are entitled to a refund on an order paid with cryptocurrency, the refund will be issued as follows:
Based on the USD value at the time of your original transaction — not at the time of the refund
Issued in USD via store credit or original crypto wallet, at our discretion
Up to 7 business days after return is received and inspected
We are not responsible for cryptocurrency market value changes between purchase and refund
We take fraud prevention seriously — not just to protect our business, but to protect our customers from unauthorized card use. The following measures are in place on every order placed at thephonesupplyco.com.
Address Verification (AVS)
The billing address you provide at checkout is checked against the address on file with your card issuer. Significant mismatches may result in the order being held for review or declined.
CVV Verification
All card transactions require the CVV (Card Verification Value) — the 3 or 4-digit security code on your card. Orders without a valid CVV match are not processed.
Automated Risk Scoring
Shopify's fraud analysis assigns a risk score to every order based on dozens of signals, including device fingerprint, IP location, order velocity, and purchase history. High-risk orders are paused automatically.
Manual Order Review
Orders flagged as medium or high risk are manually reviewed by our team before fulfillment. We may contact you by email or phone to verify your identity before shipping.
Automatic Fraud Cancellation
Orders confirmed as fraudulent — including stolen card usage — are canceled immediately. We report confirmed fraud to the cardholder's issuing bank and, where appropriate, to the Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3).
Policy Against Chargebacks
We encourage customers to contact us directly at support@thephonesupplyco.com before disputing a charge with their bank. Most issues are resolved faster through us. Unjustified chargebacks may result in account suspension.
Accurate billing information is essential for smooth order processing, fraud prevention, and prompt customer service. By placing an order, you confirm that the information you provide is complete and current.
- Billing name: Enter your name exactly as it appears on your credit or debit card. Mismatches between the name on file and the name you provide can trigger fraud holds.
- Billing address: Use the address registered with your card issuer, which may differ from your shipping address. You will have the opportunity to enter a separate shipping address during checkout.
- Email address: Provide an active email address. Your order confirmation, shipping notification, and tracking information are all delivered by email. We cannot re-send communications to an incorrect address after the fact.
- Phone number: We may use your phone number to contact you regarding order issues or verification requests. U.S. phone numbers only.
- Card expiration: Ensure your card has not expired before placing an order. Expired card transactions will fail at authorization.
Common Payment Failure Reasons
Insufficient funds, daily spending limit reached, or card flagged by your bank
Billing address doesn't match card issuer records
Incorrect security code entered at checkout
Your bank blocked the transaction as a precaution — call your bank to authorize
Update your card details and retry, or use an alternative payment method
If your payment fails and you are unsure why, contact us at support@thephonesupplyco.com or +1 (319) 775-5011.
We are committed to resolving any payment discrepancy or billing concern quickly and fairly. If you believe a charge is incorrect, we strongly encourage you to contact us before initiating a formal dispute with your bank or card issuer.
Check Your Order Confirmation
Compare the charge on your statement to the order confirmation email you received from us. The amounts should match exactly, including shipping and tax charges shown at checkout.
Contact Us First
Email support@thephonesupplyco.com with your order number and a description of the discrepancy. We aim to respond within 1 business day and resolve billing issues within 2 business days.
We Investigate & Resolve
Our team will review your order, confirm the charges applied, and issue a correction or refund if we made an error. We will provide written confirmation of any resolution by email.
Escalation If Needed
If we are unable to resolve your concern to your satisfaction, you retain the right to initiate a dispute with your card issuer or PayPal under their applicable buyer protection policies.
