How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be submitted through one of the approved channels below. We do not accept cancellation requests sent to personal email addresses, through social media, or via methods not listed here. Every cancellation request receives a written confirmation from our team.

Your Refund After Cancellation

Once we confirm your cancellation in writing, your refund is processed immediately back to the original payment method. There are no cancellation fees, no restocking fees, and no deductions of any kind from the full amount paid.

Our support team sends you a written cancellation confirmation email to the address on file. This email is your official record. Keep it for your reference. No confirmation email means no confirmed cancellation — if you do not receive one within one business day, follow up with us.

Refund Initiated Within 1 Business Day

After sending confirmation, we initiate the refund on our end. The transaction is reversed to your original payment method — Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or other accepted method used at checkout.

Step 3

Refund Processed by Your Bank (3–7 Business Days)

Processing time after we issue the refund is controlled by your bank or payment provider, not by us. Debit cards and credit cards typically post within 3 to 7 business days. PayPal and Shop Pay often reflect faster. If you used a gift card or store credit, it is restored to your account.

Step 4

Refund Visible on Your Statement

The refund appears as a credit on your original payment method statement. The descriptor will typically reference The Phone Supply Co. or The Illustrious King Limited Co. If you do not see your refund after 7 business days, contact your bank and reference your cancellation confirmation email.

Sales Tax: If sales tax was collected at the time of your order, the full tax amount paid is included in your refund. We do not retain any portion of tax collected on cancelled orders. The refund amount equals your total payment minus nothing.

What To Do If Your Order Has Already Shipped

If we are unable to cancel your order because it has already been dispatched to UPS, all is not lost. Our 30-day return policy provides a clear, straightforward resolution once your order arrives.

Do Not Refuse the Delivery

We strongly advise accepting the delivery even if you no longer want the item. Refused packages can take 2 to 4 weeks to return through the UPS system, which delays your refund. Accepting and returning is always faster.

Once delivered, inspect the item. If it arrived damaged in transit, document the damage with photos before opening. Damage claims are handled separately from standard returns — contact us immediately with photos.

Initiate a Return Within 30 Days

Email support@thephonesupplyco.com with your order number and reason. We issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number within one business day. You have 30 calendar days from the delivery date to request a return.

Receive Full Refund After Return

Return the item in original, unused condition with all original packaging. For items returned due to a change of mind, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Refund is processed within 7 business days of receiving and inspecting your return.

Federal Baseline: The FTC Mail Order Rule (16 C.F.R. Part 435) requires us to ship within the time we state (1–3 business days processing, 5–8 business days transit). If we are ever unable to meet our stated shipping timeframe, we are required by federal law to notify you and provide you the option to cancel your order for a full and prompt refund. This is a federal consumer right that applies to all U.S. customers regardless of state.

Common Cancellation Questions

These are real questions we receive from customers. If your question is not answered here, please contact us directly — we respond to every inquiry.

  • I placed my order overnight. Can I still cancel in the morning?
    Yes — in most cases. Orders placed outside of business hours (evenings, weekends, or holidays) typically do not begin active fulfillment processing until the next business day. If you placed your order after 1:00 PM Central Time on Friday, for example, it likely will not begin processing until Monday morning. Email us immediately at support@thephonesupplyco.com with your order number and cancellation request. We review all overnight and weekend emails first thing on the next business day. The sooner you contact us, the better your chances of a successful cancellation.
  • A tracking number was created. Is it too late to cancel?
    Not necessarily. When UPS generates a tracking label, it does not always mean the package has physically left our warehouse. There is often a window between label creation and carrier pickup. If your tracking number shows "Label Created" or "Awaiting Carrier Pickup" without any movement, call us immediately at +1 (319) 775-5011. We will check with the warehouse to see if the package can be pulled back before handoff to UPS. Once tracking shows "In Transit" or "Out for Delivery," the package is with UPS and cannot be recalled — you will need to accept delivery and follow our Return Policy.
  • I emailed a cancellation request. How will I know it was received?
    You will receive an automatic acknowledgment reply to your email address when your message is received in our support inbox. After that, a member of our team will personally review your request and send a formal cancellation confirmation or explanation within one business day. If you do not receive an auto-acknowledgment within a few minutes, check your spam folder or try resending to support@thephonesupplyco.com. You should never assume a cancellation is confirmed until you have received a written confirmation from us stating "Your cancellation has been approved."
  • Can I change my order instead of cancelling it entirely?
    We do not have an automated order modification system. However, if you need to change a product, size, color, or quantity, contact us as quickly as possible after placing your order. In some cases — particularly if the order is still in pending status — we may be able to cancel the original order and help you place a corrected one. Email support@thephonesupplyco.com with your order number and the exact change you need. We will advise on what is possible given the current fulfillment status.
  • Will I get a full refund if I cancel, including the shipping fee I paid?
    Yes — if the order has not yet been handed to UPS for shipment, you will receive a full refund of everything you paid, including any shipping fees and taxes. There are zero deductions. If you paid a flat-rate shipping fee of $8.00, that $8.00 is included in your refund. No cancellation fee, restocking fee, or administrative charge is ever deducted from a cancelled order that has not yet shipped.
  • I used a discount code. What happens to it if I cancel?
    One-time use discount codes that were applied to a cancelled order are not automatically reinstated. If your code was a one-time promotional code and you would like to use it on a new order, contact our support team at support@thephonesupplyco.com and we will review your situation. For multi-use or ongoing promotional codes, they remain valid and can be re-applied to a new order at checkout. The refund for your cancelled order reflects the amount actually charged — meaning it reflects any discount already applied at the time of purchase.
  • What if there was a pricing error on my order?
    If you notice a pricing discrepancy between what was advertised and what was charged, contact us immediately. We take pricing errors seriously. In the event of an overcharge, we will issue a refund for the difference or cancel the order at your preference and refund you in full — whichever you prefer. We do not fulfil orders at incorrect prices and then charge the correct price without customer consent. Pricing on our website is in U.S. Dollars and includes all applicable product costs. Taxes are calculated and added at checkout based on your shipping address.
  • I placed the same order twice by accident. What do I do?
    Contact us immediately and identify both order numbers in your email or call. We treat duplicate order cancellations as a high priority. In most cases, we can cancel one of the duplicate orders and refund it in full before it ships. If both orders have already been shipped, you will need to return one of them under our 30-day return policy. To avoid duplicate orders, do not refresh the payment page during checkout — if you are unsure whether your order went through, check your email for a confirmation before placing another order.
  • I entered the wrong shipping address. Can I correct it by cancelling and reordering?
    Yes — this is one of the most common reasons customers contact us after placing an order. Contact us as quickly as possible with your order number and the correct shipping address. In some cases, we can update the address before the label is created. If the label has already been generated, we may be able to intercept with UPS. If the order is already in transit to the wrong address, we will work with you to retrieve or reship as appropriate — though we cannot guarantee recovery of packages delivered to incorrect addresses that were entered by the customer at checkout. Acting fast is essential in these situations.
  • Who exactly is processing my order and cancellation request?
